Warren Betts, Chairman and President of Communications, joined ZoomWerks in January 1996. A technology and marketing company, ZoomWerks created Warren Betts Communications Inc. as its dedicated marketing and publicity sister company providing services to the major Hollywood studios, as well as the science and technology industries. Betts' primary responsibility is overseeing all aspects of the company's worldwide marketing and publicity efforts for its clients. The company's clients include 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Pictures, Universal Pictures, Sony Entertainment, Pixar, IMAX Filmed Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks, Warner Bros., as well as clients in the science and technology industries such as NASA, The Planetary Society, DigiSync, Parallax, Google and Microsoft. Working with director Ron Howard during production of "APOLLO 13," Betts was instrumental in bringing NASA onboard for the production, nurturing the start of a long-term NASA-Hollywood relationship for a list of major blockbuster films to follow. This relationship continues today.

A seasoned publicist with over 20 years experience Betts' expertise is entertainment, science and technology, and his company dedicates itself to developing marketing and publicity campaigns for major motion pictures themed to science and technology. Films include theatrical releases, television, documentaries, and DVD titles.

During Betts' 11-year tenure at the company he has successfully spearheaded special publicity campaigns to include Deep Impact, Armageddon, Space Cowboys, Jumper, Prince Caspian: The Chronicles of Narnia, SIGNS, From the Earth to the Moon, Magnificent Desolation: Walking On The Moon 3D, Deep Sea 3D, Aliens of the Deep, Ghosts of the Abyss, Star Trek, X-Files, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, Casino Royale, The Harry Potter film franchise, In The Shadow of the Moon, Mission To Mars, Zathura, among a long list of major Hollywood films. Current campaigns include Columbia Pictures' SALT, Walt Disney's TRON: Legacy, 20th Century Fox' RISE OF THE APES, Columbia Pictures SOCIAL NETWORK, the IMAX 3D re-release of James Cameron's AVATAR, to mention a few.

In addition to his experience in Hollywood, Betts works closely with the space exploration and science communities, as well as key figures in the world of science, including Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Ann Druyan, Max Tegmark, Bruce Murray, Lou Friedman, the late Carl Sagan, Ray Bradbury, Bill Nye, Buzz Aldrin, Neil Tyson, Dave Stevenson, Wolfgang Fink, Charlie Duke, Neil Armstrong, Alan Bean, Edward Mitchell, Story Musgrave, and an extensive list of some of today's leading scientists, astronauts, astronomers, thinkers and innovators. Betts has developed close relationships with NASA, The California Institute of Technology, MIT, among other leading institutions. He is also part of NASA's 50th Anniversary marketing team.

Someday Betts hopes to be the first publicist to venture in to space, whether a trip around the world in low orbit, a trip to the International Space Station or a ride to the Moon. Betts is a graduate from the University of Montevallo in Alabama. He lives in Pasadena, California.
